Building codes are a minimum and should not be considered as a standard. At Jeffries Custom homes our homes are built the old school way, for generations to come. We build every home as if were our own personal last dream home. Our footings, basement and garage slabs are reinforced with steel rebar and wire. Our basement walls are poured reinforced solid concrete, not block. All framing is 16 on center or less even on non load bearing walls. Our exterior sheathing is all wood. You won’t find any foam board on a Jeffries Custom home. All homes are built to good cents standards or better. House wrap and window flashing are standard features on all our homes.
